To prevent critical leakages caused by unmeant breaking of flexible hoselines Mann Tek Safety Break Away Couplings are used. Preventing spilling liquids and pollution of our environment are more and more important.

The Dry break away couplings come in two varieties.

Industrial break away, breaking in edge.

Unmeant driving away with a connected hose. One side ise fixed.

Marine break away, breaking in line.

Coupling mounted between hoses with ship to ship or ship to shore (un)loading.

 

 

After breaking the couplings can be re-used by replacing the shearbolts.
